Sergei Remennik’s 2025 FIA World Baja Cup Journey

The 2025 season was Sergei Remennik’s first experience competing in rally-raid events at this level. Together with Aleksei Ignatov and Nasser Racing Team, he raced a Taurus T3 Max in the Challenger category.

Throughout the season, the crew competed across very different terrain, from desert dunes and sand tracks to gravel roads and technical sections. Rather than relying solely on outright speed, Remennik and Ignatov focused on consistency, navigation and a controlled race strategy.

That approach brought results throughout the championship. By the end of the season, Sergei Remennik had collected 370 points, taking first place in the FIA World Baja Cup Challenger standings and third place in the overall classification.

Winning the Challenger title was the result of an entire season of work. Rally-raid racing requires much more than speed: navigation, vehicle preparation, strategy, concentration and the ability to adapt quickly to changing terrain all play an important role.

For Remennik, the season was also an opportunity to gain experience in desert racing and develop his understanding of rally-raid competition. Working alongside Aleksei Ignatov and Nasser Racing Team helped the crew maintain a consistent pace and finish the season with one of its strongest possible results.

The Dubai International Baja became the final round of the 2025 FIA World Baja Cup. After a season of demanding races, the Dubai event completed the championship and confirmed Remennik’s first place in the Challenger classification.
