What is Salik and how is it billed in rented cars?

Salik is Dubai’s electronic toll road system, and all our cars are automatically registered in it — after your rental ends, you will be billed AED 7.5 plus 5% VAT for each Salik gate you pass through, with charges calculated and settled at return.
