Update: Raising my feedback rating. After leaving my feedback here, i received a call from the customer success manager at Octane, he is the best employee i talked to so far in this company, he heard my issue, understood it, checked the pictures and the chats i had previously with the team members, confirmed that the police would not have done a police report for such a minor scratch, apologized and offered to refund the extra amount that i paid, acknowledged that this was a misunderstanding while the other two employees blamed each other. I would recommend this company again as i thought i was scammed after my first experience, but now i understood that my experience could have been related to individual behavior and not the company policy. This gives me confidence that the company cares about its customers and in case anything bad happened to you and you were right they would do everything possible to make it up. Finally, I hope the company focuses on increasing the problem solving skills of their staff (especially customer facing ones) to have better success in the future, or get them to train with the manager who reached out to me on the phone, they might learn a thing or two. Old feedback: I had a very bad experience with the car renting agency, i took the car and was very attentive to it, when i returned it, the agent who rented me the car kept going around it in circles until he said he found a microscopic scratch on the back right door (which i did not use) and could be caused by literally anything. I did not have pictures of the car of course cause i was late and had to leave quickly on my rental day ( a mistake from my side i should have took pictures of it and the picture the agent claimed he took where super blurry), he said the repair fees where 800 AED or i should have called the police to check on the accident and give me a report for 500 AED. I tried to explain to the guy that getting a police report will impact your Carfax with a reported accident that is non existent simply because of an unnoticeable scratch on the door of the car i did not use, i even wiped it with my hand which made it almost go away, but it was useless. The team (the two guys i was talking with or the team i reached out to on WhatsApp who are in Russia) is not problem solving oriented but rather just wanted to get the 800 AED out of me. I kept talking and negotiating with the guy and his boss (will not name drop them here cause it might be the company's policy and not their necessarily their decision), threatened me with everything they had, they even wanted to file a police claim against me (LOL). Whenever i tried to talk about the issue, the response was "you agreed to the terms and conditions", bro yes i agreed to the terms and conditions but getting 800 AED or the police for such a small/minor/microscopic scratch does not make sense in any language/country. Luckily i had paid in cash and not with my credit card, which made them not to able to collect the deposit amount directly. Finally after a couple of hours or so i had to leave to the airport, i agreed to pay them 200 AED (which i believed was fair IN CASE they decided to fix the scratch which i know they won't do). I hope anyone reading this feedback can learn from my mistake and avoid facing the same issue i faced, in 2025 where all companies are working towards better customer experience, i felt like this company's main goal is to count on the clients not being able to dispute whatever they said to get more money out of them.

Very good and efficient service the vehicle was perfect and they dropped of the vehicle at airport and collected at airport which was very convenient will be definitely using this company again

I recently rented a BMW 430i, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. The car was in perfect condition – clean, powerful, and very comfortable to drive. It handled smoothly on both highways and city streets, making every trip enjoyable. The pickup process was quick and straightforward, and the staff was friendly and professional, taking the time to explain everything clearly. Returning the car was just as easy, with no hidden fees or complications. Overall, a fantastic experience. I can highly recommend renting from Octane Dubai!
