We are happy to tell you a few details regarding your rental:
The mileage limit on the car must be looked at in the rental agreement on the first page. In case of overrun, each kilometer is paid additionally; you can also see the cost of an additional kilometer on the first page of the contract
The car is delivered with a full tank, if you return the car with an incomplete tank, we will write off the remaining difference in the amount of 5 AED per liter from your deposit. Or you can return the car with a full tank, in which case there will be no write-off. All our cars must be filled with 98 gasoline (super).
2.1 Same price is for toll roads (Salik), 7,5 AED
3.In the event of an accident, you need not to panic and call us immediately to receive all possible assistance, support and care.
On the day you return the car, you can take advantage of 30 minutes of loyalty and return the car later than the time specified in the contract, but no more. If you exceed this time, you will be subject to a fine of 300 AED. If the car return time is exceeded by more than 2 hours, then a daily car rental fee will be charged.
Smoking is prohibited in all our cars, the fine for this violation is 500 AED.
Be careful, fines from speed cameras in the UAE are very high. We do not recommend exceeding the speed limit.
Off-road driving in our vehicles is strictly prohibited. Driving or driving onto the sand is also prohibited. The fine for this violation is 2,000 AED
Transferring control of the car to a third party is strictly prohibited by UAE law; insurance does not work in this case.
We hope that charging cables for mobile phones will brighten up your trip and you will always be in touch. If you really like them, you can take them with you by paying us a symbolic 100 AED.
We appreciate your plans and understand that they may change. You can shorten the rental period at any time; if this happens 72 hours or less before the end of the rental period, we will be forced to withhold 500 AED from your prepayment. We will also be glad if you want to extend your rental, for this you need to contact our manager in advance.
We would also like to draw your special attention to the following fines:
Running a red light - UAE police will charge AED 50,000 for this violation.
Participation in races, races with other cars - fine 100,000 AED

Exceeding the speed limit can result in fines from AED 300 to AED 3000, with a 60-day vehicle confiscation period. In Dubai only, there is a grace speed of 20 km/h over the posted speed limit (this grace speed is not granted in other Emirates), but it is always safer to adhere to the speed limits.
Using a handheld mobile phone while driving or any other distractions can result in a fine from AED 800. Avoid distractions and keep your focus on the road.
Failure of the driver or passenger to fasten their seatbelt will cost you from AED 400. Always buckle up, it's the law and it saves lives.
Failure to use indicators when changing lanes will result in a fine from AED 400. Always use your indicators to signal lane changes.
Jumping a red signal by light vehicles or motorbikes will cost you from AED 1000 and a 30-day vehicle confiscation. Always stop at red signals.
Failure to follow traffic policeman instructions can cost you from AED 400. Respect and follow the instructions of traffic officers.
Driving against traffic or entering from a prohibited place can cost you from AED 600 to AED 1000, with a 7-day confiscation period. Always follow the traffic directions and signals.
Sudden swerving is dangerous and will cost you from AED 1000. Maintain lane discipline and use indicators when changing lanes.
Overtaking the wrong way can result in a fine from AED 600. Always overtake from the proper side and ensure it's safe to do so.
Allowing children under 10 years old to sit in front seats or failing to provide a child car seat for children under 4 years old will result in a fine from AED 400. Always ensure children are properly seated with appropriate restraints.
Not giving way to emergency, police, and public service vehicles or official convoys will cost you from AED 3000. Always yield to these vehicles.
Driving in a way that poses danger to life or harms property can result in a fine from AED 2000 and a 60-day vehicle confiscation period. Drive safely to avoid these severe consequences.
Failure to stop after causing a minor accident can cost you from AED 500 to AED 1000 and a 7-day vehicle confiscation. Stop immediately if you are involved in an accident.
Running away from a traffic policeman carries fines from AED 800 to AED 1000, with a 30-day vehicle confiscation. Never attempt to flee from a traffic stop.
Driving under the influence of alcohol or narcotics is a serious offense with penalties decided by the court, with a 60-day confiscation period. Always avoid driving if you have consumed alcohol or drugs.
Causing death or serious injury in an accident will have penalties decided by the court, with severe consequences and vehicle confiscation for up to 60 days. Drive responsibly to prevent tragic accidents.
We would like to bring to your attention that the UAE operates through multiple parking systems, including RTA public parking, private parking operators, and automated toll-based parking systems like Parkin. Below is a breakdown of how each system works:
1. RTA Public Parking
Public parking spaces in the UAE are managed by the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) and require payment via:
SMS
Nol card
RTA app
Parking meters
Applicable in designated street parking zones and multi-story parking facilities.
2. Parkin – Automated Parking System
In addition to RTA public parking, certain areas utilize the Parkin system, which operates independently.
No physical ticket or parking meter is used. Upon entering these areas, cameras will automatically register your vehicle by scanning the license plate.
Parking fees must be paid online via www.parkin.ae by entering the vehicle’s plate number.
If payment is not made within 5 days, a fine of at least AED 150 will be issued.
3. Private & Mall Parking
Some private establishments and shopping malls offer free parking for a limited time, after which charges may apply.
Payment methods vary and may include kiosks, mobile apps, or automated gates.
Customer Responsibility
Customers are fully responsible for paying any parking fees incurred during their rental period. Octane Club Premium Car Rental is not liable for any unpaid parking fees or fines.
