How the programme works

You share your referral link, promo code, banner or widget. When a new client books a car with Octane Rent, we credit you a commission on the rental amount of their first deal.

Commission

• 10% of the rental amount for rentals of up to 13 days.
• 5% of the rental amount for rentals of 14 days and longer.
• The commission base is the rental service only. Extras such as delivery, child seat, additional driver, extra insurance, deposit and fines are not included.

Client discount

• Your promo code gives the client 5% off rentals of up to 13 days and 2% off rentals of 14 days and longer.
• The discount is applied by our manager when the booking is confirmed.

Which deals are paid

• Commission is paid for the client's first rental only. Repeat rentals of the same client are not paid.
• If the first booking is cancelled, the client's next completed rental counts as the first one.
• The client must be new to Octane Rent: if they were already in our database before your referral, no commission is paid.
• The client is linked to you by your promo code: through your link (a 30-day cookie on octane.rent and in the car catalogue), a request from the catalogue or widget, or a WhatsApp / Telegram message that contains your code.

Lead statuses

A lead is a client contact you sent us, or a request a client left in the catalogue or widget with your promo code.

• New — the lead is received and waits for our manager.
• In progress — our manager is in contact with the client. No booking yet.
• Rented — the client rented a car; the deal appears in Deals.
• No rental — the client did not book: no answer, changed their mind, the terms did not suit. There was no deal in the system.

Once a lead turns into a booking, the lead shows the status of that deal instead (see below).

Deal statuses

A deal is a booking created in our system. Statuses come from the system automatically.

• Booking — the car is reserved for the client; the rental has not started yet.
• Rental in progress — the rental is running right now.
• Done — the rental is completed. Your commission is credited to your balance.
• Fail — the booking was cancelled after it had been created. No commission.

The difference between No rental and Fail: No rental means the client never booked; Fail means a booking existed and was cancelled. In both cases there is no commission.

Balance and payouts

• Commission is credited once a deal reaches the Done status.
• Payouts run monthly: we pay for the previous month by the 10th of the following month.
• Minimum payout is 500 AED. A smaller balance simply rolls over to the next month.
• Payout methods: USDT (TRC-20), USDC, cash pickup at our Dubai office, or bank transfer.

Promo codes

• You get one promo code by default and may create more — up to 100.
• A code contains capital latin letters and digits only, without spaces or symbols.
• Codes you choose yourself are reviewed by our team before they go live.

Fair use

• Do not bid on Octane brand keywords in paid search without written permission.
• Self-referrals and orders for your own existing clients are not paid.
• We may review and adjust individual conditions; you will be notified in advance.
